8 Ways to Achieve Flawless Looking Skin: No Lie!

You see that girl with no make-up on or she has just a tinted moisturizer and we are like I want her skin is it genetics, partly but most are daily habits we need to pick up to have the same flawless look!!!!!!

1. Practicing yoga two to three times a week. "Unlike my intense cardio workout, which leaves my face red and sweaty, yoga gives my skin a dewy, post-sex glow." I agree after only 2 sessions of Hot yoga my friends and I can all attest to a certain glow that left our skin looking positively fresh and fabulous!

2. When I was in high school my friend's mom used to say Always always remove your make-up before you go to bed if not it will add 40 years to your face! Okay so perhaps that was extreme but it made me listen. An effective way to prevent zits and premature aging is to remove makeup before bed. No matter how tired you are keep your pores clear using a face wash or makeup remover wipe before passing out. Besides not doing so will leave your pillow looking YU-CKY!

3. This is what I am starting to do more of and taking supplements and things like hot yoga will cause you to DRINK MORE WATER!!!!! One of the biggest common denominators among flawless-skinned women is drinking two to three liters of water a day. I Never leave home without my red water bottle!

4. YOUR DIET!!!! You are what you eat! A fiber-rich diet keeps skin looking radiant. Eat fruits and veggies with every meal that is my motto!!! Not only will your skin thank you but the rest of your body will too!!!!!

5. This one is a no brainer you should always always be wearing SPF protection on your face!!!!! UVA rays you be aging and UVB rays you be Burning!!!!! Whether it's mixed in with your moisturizer, foundation, or applied separately SPF is essential in maintaing a wrinkle free face!!!!

6. This one is the hardest one!!!!! To prevent redness and scarring, take a hands-off approach abiding by two no-nos; no picking, no rubbing. If a blemish occurs, rather than picking it -- which can leave a scar -- uses a formula with salicylic acid to dry out the problem, Like Origin's Spot Remover . After washing up, dab, not rub, your face dry with a towel.

7. Use a Mask at least once a week!!!! Depending on the situation break-out dryness etc.. I sometimes can use up to 2 different masks on my face at one time. What I Love Origin's Out of Trouble mask and Jurlique's Intense Recovery Mask

8. This last one to me very important in order to turn over cells brush away the dead ones so the new ones can shine you must EXFOLIATE!!!!!!! When skin looks blah, exfoliation is necessary to boost radiance. I use mines 2-3 times a week. My favorite: Juice Beauty's Green Apple Peel in full strength I use this one once a week in conjunction with another exfoliator. I like Juice Beauty's because it contains  A powerful hydroxy-acid complex of certified organic apple, lemon, grape juices, raw cane sugar and white willow bark exfoliate for visibly improved skin tone and texture. Vitamin antioxidants and essential nutrients hydrate and nourish fresh skin for a healthy, beautiful complexion.

The Hot New Nail Color for February 2010

This is a shade a lot of people are talking about this month—but I am almost feeling like it’s more of a March color than one for February, but whatever why not start now!!! However, despite its un-Valentine-liness, i.e. it's not red.

All hail: Smoky beige as this month’s It nail-polish color. As many of you will recall, this is the same striking claylike neutral that Sandra Bullock wore while gripping her Golden Globe award a couple of weeks ago. (While this rumor was never confirmed to us by Chanel, if we had to guess, we’d say Bullock was wearing Chanel Particuliere.) I like it because it’s neutral and versatile yet also unexpected and eye-catching. No, it won’t brighten up a wintery day like a bright red will, but it’s pleasantly lower-maintenance and a bit warm and soothing. And one could argue that it will make you tres mysterious on a V-Day date—more so than a sweet pink or saucy red might.

Bath and Body Works P.S. I Love You into a Spring Fling

I was in Bath and Body picking up Japanese Bloom for my grandmother when I decided to find something fun and flirty for Valentine's Day for myself you know just a little misting spray of a flirty fun fragrance.

And I ran across Bath and Body Work’s newest scent P.S. I Love You Spring Fling . A younger, flirtier version of P.S. I Love You, Spring Fling is more rosy, less perfumey (I hate that strong floral perfume smell)  and contains subtle hints of citrus and melon making for a much lighter scent. I picked me up the fragrance mist and shower gel and I bought one for my grandma as well who knows perhaps she wants to feel rosy and flirty too!

This is just one of those scents that feels so fresh and romantic. P.S. — I loves it!

NEW: DKNY Apple Perfumes!

Three new fragrances have joined the DKNY family of fragrances and they are part of the Delicious family. These new fragrances are all about pairing the sweetness of candy with a ripe, juicy apple and they will be available in stores starting this month. Here’s a video that might give you some insight into how these pairings were made. :)

Now onto the fragrances themselves…
  • DKNY Sweet Caramel Candy Apple opens with candy apple, pear and marshmallow notes, which blend into a heart of jasmine, muguet and violet leaves and a drydown of caramel and vanilla.
  • DKNY Juicy Berry Candy Apple opens with black currant, blackberry, pear and lychee notes, blends into a heart of rose petals and apple blossom, and finishes with sandalwood and sugary blond woods.
Isn’t the packaging adorable? I am loving the dipped caramel apple look these bottles have and their vibrant colors. It’s not just scent candy, it’s eye candy too. If you like fruity florals, you are going to love these fragrances.  Of the three, my favorite of the bunch is the Ripe Raspberry Candy Apple. I love the touch of cola in this fragrance… and don’t worry, you’re not going to smell like a Coke.

LOVES IT!

St. Ives In-shower exfoliating body polish

I absolutely love going to other people's homes and using their showers you get the opportunity to see what is in their shower arsenal. As it may happen I am staying at my moms and she had something in her shower I didn't recommend and haven't tried! St. Ive's In-shower Exfoliating Body Polish, let me first start by saying that it is very thick VERY!!! Wasn't expecting that, but it will last longer I think because it is so thick.  But it is very moisturizing and the scrubbing beads are fan-tas-tic! I grabbed a bit in my hand and scrubbed my body all-over my skin felt smooth, soft and it was glowing. I loved it! Thanks mom....she may find that little tub missing when I make my way back home!!!

Formulated with natural sugar crystals and Oatmeal & Shea butter extracts, this polish gently exfoliates & cleanses to leave your skin smooth, bright and moisturized without over-drying for radiant, irresistably soft skin.

Bobbi Brown's New Cabana Coral Collection

Bobbi Brown’s new Cabana Coral collection has given me a little hope that spring will come and melt away this wretched snow. The last few snowed in days I have been running to my make-up kit looking at my new coral colors waiting for the day I can try them! These shades of coral will suit any skin tone!!!
There’s a new Pot Rouge in Cabo Coral and Calypso Coral makes a return… snap it up before it’s gone! I decided to go with the Cabo Coral I apply it with a brush of course and it looks so nice natural and warm and springy on my skin! These Pot Rouge's are definitely a favorite of mines. They are creamy and work for both lips and cheeks for a pop of color.  This is a must buy!
We’ll see two Shimmer Bricks in this collection. Nectar (shown above) is all new and Pink Quartz is coming back as a remote. I have the Pink Shimmer Brick I love these for an color pick me up
These are very soft and complimentary to every piece of this collection. I’m was excited to see these on I tried on all of them Guava looked great on me. But all the colors were so fresh and warm.  Included in the collection: Metallic Lip Colors in Coral Reef, Calypso Glaze, Coral Glaze and Lip Colors in Cabo Cora and Guava.
Three new Shimmer Lip Glosses, including  Sunset Beach, Coral Sand and Golden Nectar. I got Golden Nectar to top off Guava!
And here’s the showstopper, the Cabana Coral Lip & Eye Palette – an exclusive to Bergdorf Goodman andNeiman Marcus. It’s a neutral palette with a coral twist. I kind of love it, what about you? If you cannot decide between some of these colors this one is the best way to get them all and mix them too!!!!

How’s everyone else feeling about the rise of the corals?

LOVES IT!!!!
