Cold Weather Staples

As the Cold weather descends upon us we must put away the "Fru-fru" lotions and stuff that won't hold up to the winter months furry. All this week we will feature Cold Weather products that really work which you can add to your beauty arsenal and put a stop to itchy dry skin.

First on deck: Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream; I used Cetaphil for as long as I can remember it was recommended to me by my Dermatologist as it's the best thing for dry skin and eczema. But a couple of years ago I stopped using it, not sure why exactly. While in D.C. I got re-introduced to it again  durning the the Presidential Inauguration. It was truly cold I mean freezing but one thing I can honestly say is that my skin never felt dry or itchy! I thought, "Why did I get rid of this."

Cetaphil is a no frills cream it does what is says it will: this non greasy formula alleviates dry skin. Period. I use it twice a day in the AM and in the PM after my bath. LOVES IT!

Also in my Cold Weather Kit is Neutrogena Sesame Body Oil. This is my favorite oil, it's light not greasy, won't rub off on your clothes and a little goes a long way. I actually mix in my hand a large dollop of Cetaphil and about 5 drops of the Sesame Body Oil and what a great moisturizing duo; dry skin is never and issue with that mixture! Neutrogena Body Oil is a delicately light sesame formula that instantly vanishes into the skin, sealing in moisture. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly I LOVES It!

What is in your Cold weather Kit something you cannot live without! Comment Let us know!
