KERASTASE PARIS: MASQUINTENSE FOR THICK HAIR

Looking for a Nourishing conditioner look no further! Okay so I may change my beauty and skin-care products like everyday but when it comes to my hair-care products I am like if it ain't broke! I mean Paul Mitchell and my green and white bottle were the only things in the hair department. But I decided to take a leap of faith and start trying new things, now my Hair Basket (yes I have a basket a huge one too) is as plentiful as my Beauty Drawers.  I am loving Kerastase Paris (by Loreal) Masquintense for Thick Hair! Hands down one of the BEST conditioners I have ever used.

I stumbled on this brand a few years ago when I received the Nutritive collection (Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave-In rinse) at an event. I finally decided to use it when I washed my hair and realized okay I have no shampoo or conditioner so I went into my sample Box (Yes I have plenty of sample boxes which I use to turn my guest rooms into B&Bs when company comes into town) I digress; So I used the samples and loved the shine and feel of my hair. I thought fluke, so I used it again and again till I was scraping the final corners of the Conditioner tub. I was hooked; my absolute favorite is the Conditioner ( and the Leave-In rinse so nourishing but I will save That for another blog).

It's like a mask but for your hair, thick and dry hair. It's a concentrated (so go easy on it, less is more) Nourishing Treatment for Thick, Very Dry and Sensitized Hair! It makes my hair shiny and soft and that is before I even use the Paul Mitchell Super Serum, honestly after I wash and do my hair with the Kerastase conditioner (masque) and Leave-In I don't need Paul! This line is very nourishing and provides a healthy shine. P.S. I sometimes sit under the dryer with the conditioner for a deeper treatment, atleast every-other week.

They have a wide variety of products for different hair types. Find your hair Type:

Nutritive: For Curly, Dry (Rebellious), Normal to Slightly Dry, Very Dry, Thick Curly and dry Hair types (It's the one I use)

Reflection: This is for color treated hair it extends the life and radiance of your color. It's for normal, Color-Treated hair, Dry Highlighted or Color-Treated Hair (I have also used this shampoo right after I got highlights)

Resistance: This is for hair that is weakened or damaged and breaking. It's for Weakened & Damaged, Fine & Lacking Volume (limp hair), Aging Hair and Scalp.

Specifique: This is like a beauty clinic for the scalp. It's for Oily Scalps, Dandruff, and Thinning Hair.

I must say it ain't cheap! It's abut $60 for the conditioner (don't stop reading! It really goes a long way and spending that amount really teaches you the value of less is more) however, I have found it cheaper on Amazon or even at  TJ Maxx. But if you purchase online you get 2 samples that are real size samples (the ones I started with) and you can get about 10-15 uses out of it... definitely worth it!

LOVES IT!!!!! REALLY DO!

Use Kerastase? Plan to try it? Let us know in the comments!
