What a Fabulous way to kick off Breast Cancer Month!
If you get any color for the Fall it must be hot pink or Fuchsia for lips! Yes, I know that seems like an over-dramatic declaration, but really, who doesn’t love a gorgeous pink lipstick? It’s one of the most universally flattering makeup looks around! It can glam up an outfit in seconds. Celebs are already in on this beauty secret: I am sure you have seen more fuchsia lip looks at fashion shows and awards shows this fall than ever before. So why the hot pink? According to make-up artists the new lip trend is all about “brightening up and looking more alive”.
The trick to pulling off a sexy pink lipstick is to go easy on the eye-makeup.
Just stick to a neutral shadow and add a few coats of mascara. Another good trick? Try bronzer instead of blush, or something naturally flush like Benetint. When you restrict the pink hue to your pretty smile, it’ll make your bold lip stand out even more. If the straight-from-the-tube color seems too bright for you, try blotting it down gently to create more of a stain, then finish with clear lip gloss.

Nars Lipstick In Funny Face semi-matte fuchsia is simply gorgeous. Also Nars' Lip Lacquer in Hot Wired, it's a bit more sheer but can be slicked on to be a bit more rich and POW!
Another super favorite of mines is Bobbi Brown's Gloss in "Hot Pink" Especially if you are not ready for a real Hot Pink Lip commitment!

Pink Lips are hot this season in South Florida. I went to the M.A.C counter and tried both the Lustering and the Girl about town. Girl about town was a bit darker than I expected, so I opted for the Lustering. It really popped and brightened my smile. LOVES IT! :-)
