So what's the secret? The sharpness and length of the liner. See how it thins out to a precise, pointed line at the end? It stretches to the very end of her eyebrows--the perfect stopping point when you're lining your own eyes. As you are bringing the liner towards the end notice how it goes somewhat upward; you always want bring it upward whether with shadow or liner as "up" makes your eyes look open, bright and young. "Down" makes your eyes look droopy, old and gives the illusion everything is sagging..Yuck!

A sharply pointed liquid liner makes it easy to get a straight and narrow line. Try one of the new liquid liners pens, like Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen, it's so easy to use and is at a good price-point. They look (and work!) just like a fine-tip Sharpie (but trust me it will come off). I have used the black (of course) and Navy.
My new favorite liner which just came out, is the Nars New Eyeliner Stylo, it comes in Blue Bayou, Nabucco (a rich looking fall brown) and Nuits Blanches (a sexy black). These are new kinds of Liquid liners that are easy and gives you a flawless looking eye every time! The Blue Bayou perfect for going out pair shocking eyes with almost nude lips for a sexy look!
To make the liner look even sharper, use a lining brush to apply a highlighting cream or even foundation to trace the top edge of the liner--it'll make it stand out even more and camouflage any unsteady looking edges; because we all make mistakes.
You can also achieve this look using eye-shadow and slightly wetting it or using Stila SmudgePots. If using the Smudge Pots use a fine lining brush and first line your eyes then use a eye smudge-er to create a more dramatic look! PRESTO!
LOVES IT!
