Swirl.Tap.Buff your way to a Healthy Glow: I.D. Bare Minerals (Escentuals)

One morning I was watching TV and an informercial spot on Bare Minerals popped up. I saw it a couple more times, then being the product crazed woman I am, I ordered it. Okay so I am very weary about ordering make-up on TV, specifically foundation without trying it on first; but alas I did. The package came and I was thrilled...I opened it quickly dismissed the video, as I am of course a pro, and went to work. Oops didn't match my skin type...bummer! I went to the Bare Minerals (Escentuals) store and got color matched (when buying foundation it's a must) and have been in LOVE ever since.

The Foundation can be adjusted for light coverage to heavy coverage. I also use it as concealer. It's super light almost feels like you are wearing nothing not cakey like a liquid or liquid to powder. Smooth and I cannot say this enough light, I work-out with it on, and wear it honestly everyday. I can touch my face and not worry about having to wash my hands later, it really absorbs into your skin and a little goes a long way. 


Starting with a small amount of bareMinerals in the lid of the foundation jar. 1. Swirl the bareMinerals in the lid with the Handy Buki Brush (for fast, full coverage) or the Flawless Application Face Brush (for light to medium coverage) until all the bareMinerals are tucked into the bristles. 2. Tap away excess. The bareMinerals should not be visible on the outside of the brush. 3. Buff BareMinerals onto the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone and swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, nose and cheeks. Buff, buff, buff until you are satisfied with the coverage. Less is more when applying bareMinerals.

Next step is to apply Warmth, it gives your skin a truly warm glow and I know I sound like an infomercial right now but it does. You apply it like a bronzer but it's more than a bronzer. It gives you a vibrant healthy glow and a touch of dewiness and you need not go crazy with this product just a tad (really a tad, I used too much once and looked too dewy LOL) goes a long way.

Lastly, apply the Mineral Veil which to me is like applying translucent powder over your liquid foundation it  polishes and completes your look.  TADA Radiant Glowing fresh looking skin! Apply eye-shadow, blush, and lips as normal. Or try the BareMinerals line they have an endless amount of colors to choose from. 

When purchasing the foundation you will get 2 color types. I like that because you can blend to the perfect match ever. Don't be afraid to blend and mix. BareMinerals last all day, through sweat and humidity honestly. I wear it to go to dance practice and it's still there when I get home.
