ALL About Mascara Week: Maybelline NY Pulse Perfection

I am sure you have heard of Lancome's Oscillating Wand Mascara, well Maybelline NY has entered the game of battery operated mascaras and today we have put it to the test! 

Maybelline's NEW Pulse Perfection™ by Define-A-Lash® Vibrating Mascara

 promises luscious thickness, luxurious length, intense color, shapely curves, healthy luster, and zero clumps! WOW....ZERO! And the Patent-pending elastomer brush vibrates 7,000 times per stroke. Don't be alarmed, though this isn't heavy duty vibrating you can barely hear it or feel it. It's very light and at one point I had to touch it to make sure I could feel it actually vibrating. 

Before: Again I primed my lids with CoverGirl's Invisible Concealer in Tawny and today I used the Maybelline Stiletto Liquid eye-Liner (which I am getting good at using).

I know you guys are getting tired of seeing my dull lifeless lashes. 

And the after! 

 They look fuller and longer. 

As you can see I did have some clumping (Second picture highlights that). They look fabulous from afar but up-close you can see a bit of 2 strand clumping.  Did I feel like the vibrating made a difference in this instance, not really. 

 

I would give Pulse Perfection a check on thickness, check on length, check on intense color (I go compliments out the wazoo for my lashes and striking looking eyes, like I said from afar it looked exceptional). However we cannot check off on Zero Clumps!
