Sephora Brand Atomic Volume Mascara - Ultra Black blows all other mascaras away. The dramatically dark color formula conditions lashes, keeping them pretty, healthy, and seriously stunning. It has an innovative tubular brush applicator with a lash-lengthening comb perfectly separates lashes for a full, sexy flutter.
So what are we looking for it to do here: lengthen and volumize (which is: bulk: the property of something that is great in magnitude) and we are looking for them to be "stunning".
Again I primed the lid of my eye with CoverGirl's Invisible Concealer in Tawny. Today I also used e.l.f's Under the Eye Highlighter (Just got it had to try). I also used as a liner Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen, which trust my friends is very easy to use.
So here are the before pictures:
Definitely No volume here!
No Mascara, although they look a bit curly.
Here they sort of blend in with the liner and the bottom lashes are just there. And here are my lashes WITH Atomic Volume Mascara!
My Lashes definitely Look longer here but I did get some 2 strand clumping and had to use my little brush.
In This Picture it does look like I have fuller lashes. In Conclusion: We can check off Length, my lashes do look a bit fuller, but no real volume. At times it does have a tendency to give me 'tarantula eyes' - clumpy at the top of my lashes and sticking straight out like a board. (You can notice this in my second picture). There was no flaking throughout the day though. Did it wash off easily...ummm not exactly I kept having to wipe under my bottom lashes as I had that smeared looking "look" going on, you know the one. So it took a couple extra wipes.
Side Note: I love the e.l.f. Under the Eye Concealer and Highlighter and for $3.00 a pop who could resist giving it a try.
What do you think? Does it volumize to you? Have tried Atomic Volume Mascara? Are we expecting too much from our Mascaras? Comment Let us know?
