While there is really no way to replace all the fierce, sexy, vibrant tones of MAC shadows I did find a few comparable replacements.
L'Oréal's HiP eye shadow line has a few similarities to MAC's popular shadows, but the great thing about the HiP products is that you get two in one at about half the cost. Lets take a look at MAC's Eye Shadow in Coppering ($14.50), a pearly orange-copper (I love to mix this with MAC's Expensive Pink), it is a close resemblance to the HiP Bright Duos Shadow in Flare ($8). Which I actually love to use as well.
Here we have another example of the L'Oréal/MAC STEAL, but instead of a fiery orange shade, this one's a pinky-plum with a metallic finish. L'Oréal's HiP Shadow Duo in Cheeky ($8) is a pretty good match to MAC's Eye Shadow in Plum Dressing ($14.50), don't you agree?
